More wiring... Needed one more hole in the port fuselage side, so checked with Van's about best location. Ended up 3 inches behind the first one, ensuring identical edge distance as instructed.
Cut the stainless steel floor for the heat protection, and then cut the ceramic matting to fit. Drilled the holes for attachement with stainless steel rivets and the rudder pedal assembly.
Put a few rivets in, and looked very good. Should protect the florr from an engine fire, and it blocks heat transmission to 2200 degrees for more than 20 minutes before the inside starts to feel warm.
