Brief Description: Wing Fairings and flap fairings
Finished fitting all the wing root fairings, and then the flap fairing. Look great? Decided to fit the RV8A step, so had to cut a hole in the port fairing to accomodate the step. Deburred and edge prepped all of the aluminium parts.
Original plan was to shorten the height of the step, but Chris and I took off the tailwheel assembly, put the fuselage on the floor, and still had 9" of clearnce to the base of the standard step. I know that the weight of the engine will drop the height of the palne, but there should still,be plenty of clearance. Waiting for advice on the "mod' from LAA
