Brief Description: Aerials and undercarriage fitted
Started off with an easy job... mounted the aerials and backing plates for 2 comm antennae (bent whip), the transponder, DME and marker beacon after discussing the siting with Brian Cook at Bournemouthe Avionics.
Had to sand off the 2k topcoat, 2k primer and two pack acid etch primer and it was bloody difficult!
Decided to bite the bullet and get the Grove gear fitted, so that the fuselage can come off the stand. What a difficut job, getting all of the bolts in and torqued up correctly! Took ages! Lifted the front off the front stand, and spun it around on the UJ at the back... she sits very high!
