Wasnt very happy with the installation of the flap position mechanism fitted yesterday... the power cables could get snagged by the switch actuator arm during movement, either jamming it, or removing power from the motor in a semi-deployed position. Dismantled the entire mechanism, re-routed the cable from the switch mechanism to the opposite side of the flap actuator, so that the possibility was eliminated. Wired the flap motor to the position controller, and now ready to run a conduit to the fron of the aircraft. Primed the new cover that I made yesterday, and fitted it over the flap mechanism to remove any possibility of it snagging on passenger clothing.
