fibreglassed the instrument cover and side fillets, fixed nitplaates to the front edge. Started to fit the Flyboys throttle quadrant... long arms so long throw back to front. Impossible to fit in the standard Van's location when using the fastback conversion because of the different panel filet shape... fabricated a new 0.040" box to mount the quadrant, pulling it in and backwards , which fits better for me. Put cushions in the seat and played wround with location. Fitted the quadrant, then started fabricating a cardboard template for a new side panel to accomodate the quadrant. After a few iterations, final version looked good. Used the templates to mark out a sheet of 0.032" sheet to make a top and inside cover. Looking good so far, but probably another 10-12 hours work to mkake it look good.
