Brief Description: Alucrom bare metal. flap switch checking, canopy h
Made a handle for the canopy.. fairly minimal but light and effective. machined a slot in the canopy wall and expoxied in place, supported by 3 machine screws. Filled and sanded on the outside. needs priming now. Checked th flap switch after advice from Stein,,, The GEA 24 displays 'flap up' when the flap switch is pressed up, and vice versa. The flaps move in the right direction, so the GAD 27 is wired up ok. Still isnt fully retracting with a prolonged 'up' input... no idea why not. Not too concerned... in a go-around in a tight spot, I'd rather have 10 degrees flap than have it go to no-flap when I need them most.
Alucromed the bare aluminium where ive sanded the wingtip joints.
Will need to epoxy prime in snot green to tidy it up.
