Brief Description: More dimpling, and replaced the inner aileron bear
More dimpling of starboard wing.
Got a new aileron bearing for the inner hinge as it was very stiff. No point stressing the hinge when its already been identified as a weak spot and has a 'fix' already done to strengthen it. Difficult to dismantle the hinge plates that hold the bearing, but managed without ruining the holes. Decided to pre-load the rivets to expand them into the holes despite them looking ok, before finally squeezing the rivets fully. Bugger of a place to get at! The only way I could get the shop head looking good was to rivet almost fully, then backrivet the shop end against a big bucking bar on the round size. Managed to do it without spoiling the machine head.
