Brief Description:  Flaps, conduit and tank testing!

After a week to cure, I thought it was time to check the tanks for leaks. Used the Van's kit, added 36" water pressure and waited. Very small drop in manometer level. Sprayed everything with bubble solution, couldnt see a leak... So I put the tanks in the hot tub and sat on them!
Still cant find any sign of a leak.
I'll put some fluoroscein into 20l of petrol tomorrow and look for leaks under a UV lamp.

Fitted the right flap hinge and lined everything up. Slightly better fit than the left.

Fabricated a bracket to hold the pitot/AOA lines as they pass underneath the aileron bellcrank, and all looks tidy. Drilled holes in the ribs for the 3/4" conduit. Mad a jig to hang from rivets in the rib/skin junction to make sure everything lines up neatly. Waiting for a drill extension to so that I can drill the holes in the ribs at the wing-walk reinforcement area. Should be here by wednesday.

I tweaked the rivets on the port flap with the rivet shaver...a few small edges no longer protrude. I do like having the right tools for a job!
