Brief Description: flap braces and aileron bellcrank fabricated
More painting of the rear spar channel and the surface of the flap and aileron braces that will be 'inside' painted with rattle can gloss to provide even more protection against corrosion. Aileron bellcrank attached, and the short aileron pushrods fabricated. The screw end fittings were too tight to insert together even after putting the screw fitting in the freezer and warming the pushrod up in boling water. More VAF searching and found that this was a common problem. Advised to sand each part to fit. All worked fine, very tight fit. Inner part of tube primed and the end fittings fixed with rivets.
