Brief Description: Bolting the outer undercarriage weldments and rive
Chris finally got to do some rivetting on the aircraft!
New intercostal ribs in the central undercarriage channel fabricated, and needed to be rivetted back in place... definately a two man job! We swapped roles on each side, so he got to buck the rivets on one, and use the gun on the other. Co-ordination between us was god, and rivets look fine and no skin dings!
Multiple machine screws and nylocs fitted to the spare holes on the outer gear weldments. An impossible job for a single handed builder.
