started to fit Grove on e piece gear. Trimmed forward sectio of lower skin to access the conventional 'gear tunnel' and removed the 'intercostal ribs. Figured it was easier to remove them and reshape them on the bench rather than try to do it in situ as the rivets were really easy to access.
Fitted the inner wear plate, temporarily fixed the outer wear plate and trimmed the fuselage skin. Ready to align the gear tomorrow and drill the outer mounting brackets... then take it all down, prime and turn fuselage back over readu for the next stage. Undercarriage can be finally fitted later, but its important to get everything prepped for final installation whilst access in the 'canoe' is easy
