Took the HS tip off, made a new bracket whilst pondering what to do with the avionics. Picked up the parts for the interior from the bodyshop. Looks great!
Fitted the rudder cables back in, and also the fuel tap. More refitting tomorrow if its raining. if its dry, I'll be building an extenson to the garage so that I can get the wings on.
Had long chat with Brian Cook at Bournemouth Avionics... he's going to swap the Aspens for a complete Garmin touch setup and engine monitors, with a second radio. Saves me about £5k for the engine monitor stuff! Struggloing to make the panel as aethetically pleasing as I had it with the Aspens, but it will work better, and be cheaper. I'm still going to put the magnetometer in the HS SSB tip though, as its megnetically neutral. Plan now ist to put the AHARS,remote DME, transponder and ELT on the avionics shelf as I need a bit more weight in the back as the Li-on battery is so light!
