Brief Description: rebuilt the HS spar reinforcement
Paint on new HS814-1 dried, so started to rivet it back to the main HS. Surprisingly easy with both the rear and forward inboard ribs removed. More space than anticipated, and easily a one-man job, with no special equipment. Ribs refitted, and HS reattached to the fuselage. Much better fit, and well worth the effort of replacing a key part. I have no concerns about the strength of the empennage now.
