Brief Description: Fibreglass tips to rudder and VS
Mounted the fibreglass tips to VS and rudder, clecoed in place. Rudder cap fixed, filled and sanded and it looks great... but doesnt match the shape of the VS tip at all!
More filling and sanding tomorrow... and for a few more days, I guess.
Wasnt sure if the bad fit was my doing or just the parts, so back to the VAF forum. Best comment I found was "the metal fits well, but don't expect any of the fibreglass parts to match up to each other, and certainly don't expect them to match to the metal"
