Brief Description:  Dimpling fun

After the disappointment of getting the edge distance wrong on the starboard tip, made good progress preparing the skins and ribs for priming.
Decided to scotchbright, then dimple the ribs using my 'normal' dimples. Didn't want to dimple the skins as I'm waiting for the 'spring back' dies to arrive.
Currently using hand squeezer as pneumatic one still hasnt arrived... all went well until the house bell rang, I glanced up whilst squeezing the dimpler, and then noticed I'd missed the hole and created another one next to it! Ordered a new rib to go with the tip rib...

As I had a damaged part to play with, I thought I'd see if I could repair it. I flattened the errant dimple, dimpled the correct hole, then filled the wrong hole with epoxy and sanded it down when cured. With a bit of primer on, no one would notice... except me. The spare part is on its way.
Still waiting for my positive pressure spray hood so that I can get on with spraying the acid primer and two-pack epoxy primer.

Went flying in the Husky for an hour just to blow off a few cobwebs. Wish I could afford to keep both planes!
