Drilled the skin holes, took skins off, dismantled everything. Deburred all of the parts and scotchbrighted all interior parts. Problem with the starboard tip rib. The front hole ended up too close to the edge. Presumably the front flange was lying with a slight kink that I didnt notice, so when match drilled through the skin, it was off the centreline of the rib. As there is one pre-drilled hole in the rib flange, I still cant see how it went wrong. I will order a neww tip rib; I guess this is why the empennage kit is sent out first... screw up the cheap bits on the learning curve.
Learning Point: Mark the centre line of the rib next time, so I can see it through the hole in the skin.
