Brief Description: Bose LEMO and Mic/Headset installation
Tackled the headset installation today. Made some stainless steel faceplates to protect the paintwork. Installed the Mic and phone lines, linked to the new Bose LEMO sockets so that I dont have to worry about the batteries running out evere again!
Tested each line on eahc LEMO plug and everything connected properly. Had a problem wtith the rear Mic socket as it was grounded to teh airframe; I removed it, added a 3mm heatshrink collar to the thred, and reinstalled the insulating washers and the ground connection disappeared. All is well! Started to install the flap position indicator now that Ive decided not to use the Showplanes system (the Garmin G3X Touch does it all, so not needed)
Had to order a 1" Adel clamp to complete the installation, so it wont get finished until Friday
