Brief Description: Roll bar and mid-latch fitting, rudder pedal mods
Started to trim the roll bar to fit. Ideally it would have been good to have the canopy trimmed, but not possible... so I fixed a straight edge along the top of the turtledeck and made it fit just below this. All insstallations ive seen online have had the canopy bubble a couple of inches above this line, so should work out ok. Bent the mid-fuselage latch to fit the roll bar. The welder popped around to see what he needs to do, and is coming on wednesday to do the work.
fabricated the stainless flexible fuel line from pump to firewall
Modified the rudder pedal/brake cylinder bolts again, swapping the two fixing bolts for a single long bolt and an aluminium tube spacer between them, adding more 'redundancy' to the installation. Job done...
