New gusset for the front FB bulkhead made as I want happy with the old ones. Instructions were to 'bend the old gusset to fit the new bulkhead, but by the time I had it fitting, I got the impression that stress cracks were forming at the bend, so I made new ones that fit well.
FB turtledeck reattached properly, clecoed along longerons, and then the bulkheads positioned accurately and match drilled.
The number 2 bulkhead will need a few shims on the starboard sid befor rivetting at four locations in order to stop the skin distorting when tightly rivetted. Othe bulkheads fit perfectly. Looking great! Trial fitting requires the FB skin to be inserted between the side skin and longeron, but unsure of the final position. Looks daft to install as it is, as water will flow down the gap into the fuselage. Checked with Bryan at Showplanes, and the definitive fit is with the turtledeck outside the fuselage skin at installation.
