Brief Description:  Stall warner fitted

Started on the stall warner. The doubler created a disproportionate amount of grief!
Plans called for the nut plates to be dimpled, but doing so just twisted the base... didnt notice at first, but caused terrible warping of the skin when rivetted on to the wing...
Drilled them all out, threw them away and machine countersunk new ones. Much better appearance.
In the process, I didnt noticed that the replacement nut plates were a size larger than expected, so I needed to enlarge the skin holes and re-dimple for bigger C/S head size. Should have been a simple job and should have gone with first instinct and NOT dimple the nut plates. On the bright side, the wings might fall off but the access hatch will definately survive!
I then realised that the stall warner needed to be assembled from dozens of individual components! Very satisfiying when it all worked at the end.
Stall warner and bracket fixed to wing.
