Brief Description:  Installed grear legs and wheels

Ug, this was hard, first you install the brackets on gear legs that locate the disk brakes and also determine how far the wheels slide on. Because of the powder coating process the holes all need to be drilled to allow the bolts to pass through.

I then installed the wheels onto the gear legs, big mistake, because of the height of the saw horses the legs (in my case anyway) can only be installed without the wheels on, this was even after raising the front of the fuselage by adding additional packing.

The holes where the bolts insert to locate the gear legs also need to be drilled and filed so that the bolts can be inserted.

Its a bear of a job, even with grease on the ends of the gear legs they do not want to easily slide into place, its a really tight fit that needs lots of coersion. I had to rotate the gear legs back and forth to get them into position and the last inch was really really tight. Its done now and I hope it does not have to come off again.

Yippie

The whole fuselage moves really easily on its wheels, I can now move it out of the garage to finish the canopy as required......
