Shop head on the rivets turned out alright. On the upper two brackets for the vertical stab, the plans call for a -7 rivet. When I finished squeezing them, I looked at them with a magnifying glass and they appeared to be cracked at the edges. It turned out that the rivets were slightly long. I cut the rivets to the proper length, about -6.5 and not -7. The rivet is supposed to stick out of the metal past the grip length 1.5 times the diameter of the rivet. The -6.5 will make it protrude out past the grip length 3/16 of an inch. Which is 1.5 times D of the 1/8 rivet.
