The same heavy paper template that was made for the left wing was used on the right wing. We then cut the root skin (7V9-3) a little over sized using the heavy paper template, fitted and trimmed as necessary. Then, we alligned the root skin against the upper skin on the root angle & flush with the trailing edge of the rear channel. Then, laid out the rivet line on the rear channel, drilled & clecoed the root skin to the r-channel. Then we proceeded to drill & cleco the root skin to the root angle & root rib 1-hole at a time from the rear channel to the spar using a # 40 bit (drill to #30 later).
