Cut lower skin (7V7-3) from edge of spar tip to edge of rear channel with snips for wing tip components. Aslo, cut outboard trailing edge skin (7V7-5) flush with trailing edge of lower skin to trailing edge of upper skin. Filed all edges &b corners. Laid out, drilled & clecoed lower tip angle (7V8-3) & trimmed at the trailing edge. Laid out & fitted "L" channel (255 mm), drilled & clecoed to spar tip with flange facing rearward. Laid out & cut nose skin for fiberglass tip a little at a time untill fitted. Laid out rivet pattern on nose skin for fiberglass tip, 8mm in from edge of skin, pitch 40 mm.
