I started building the flaps. All the edges have been de-burred; the angle brackets for the actuator and spacer have been built. Judy built the spacer and did a great job! It fits perfect. All parts have been primed. I had to build a temporary work bench top because the instructions say to drill and cleco the skins to the flat work bench table top. When done drill all the cleco holes to 5/8” so you can flip the flap over and the clecos will drop into the holes. I did not want to ruin the top of the work bench so I built the temporary work bench out of 2 – 4x4’s and a 2”x12” top. It turned out sturdy and nice and flat. I will not ruin the work bench and I can use the “bench later for a step or whatever I need to do.
