Brief Description: Fabricated radio stack brackets
I designed the two sheet aluminum brackets in solidworks that will support the com and xpndr radios. I taped the flat patterns to .024" thick aluminum, cut out the shapes, drilled clearance holes for a couple of nearby screws and then bent them to shape with a hand bender.
Next step will be to assemble them to the radio brackets, drill mounting holes to the brackets and then match drill the mounting holes to the back of the avionics panel.
