At the advice of another builder I test fit the aileron push rod to check clearance. I greased the rivet heads on the push rod end cap, inserted the rod and then temporarily connected it with a 3/16" bolt. Movement was free and clear during the stroke except for the very end of stroke during insertment. The rod is able to flex to compensate this, and I don't know what the full usable stroke is. It appears that this will work fine, although I have not tested the right wing for any differences.
