I spent some time lining up the horn end fittings in all directions. It is important to keep everything perpendicular so that the two parts form a straight axis of rotation after bolting the flanges together. I spent most of this build session practicing for the deep weld that will need to be in the end clevis. For some reason I am finding this weld very difficult to do smoothly. The welds I have made so far have good penetration and are structurally fine...but do not look good, so I am still working on it.
