Brief Description:  Rudder Cable Routing Path and Elevator Horn

Since I had the rudder , fin spar, and aft bulkheads all removed from the fuselage and easy to access, I decided to establish the routing path for the rudder cable. Working it now lets me drill the clearance holes with best access to everything. I had the two pilot holes in the fin spar that were located per drawing 17. As it turns out, this location is too far outboard. If I had it to do again, I would not have drilled the pilot holes in the spar. The .50 in dia final diameter of the hole is not enough to clean up the pilot hole, so the holes in my spar are now oblong. With the extra stap I have on the outside of the spar, I am not worried structurally.

Also started on the elevator control horn weldments. I cut, bent and welded the elevator interface flanges to the torque tubes.
