Work began on the left fuel tank today. This was much the same process as the right wing. Image 1 shows the pre-coating of faying surfaces of the left-wing skin. Image 2 shows the top substructure with a good slathering of sealant on all surfaces. Image 3 shows what I coat on the bottom surface on day one. (Just the upper portion of the inboard cell. This makes it easier to get a good coating on all the leading-edge surfaces)
