Brief Description:  Final tail mounting details

All attach bolts for the horizontal and vertical stabilizer were installed and torqued. This includes the ones that require crawling down the tail cone in a somewhat awkward position. Once all the tail cone bolts were installed, the crawling board and its mounting provisions were unbolted and removed. All torqued bolts were torque striped. I hope that installation of the rudder and elevators will not require removal of the stabilizers for any reason, but we will see. The fairing holes were countersunk and the fairing installed for test fit. Note, the -6 nutplates that I used were not the countersunk variety, that’s why the holes need to be countersunk rather than dimpled. (I still cannot bring myself to pay so much for each nutplate) so .063 aluminum spacers were made for each nutplate. It's time consuming, but it works.
