Brief Description:  Horizontal Tail Anchor

Rigged the aft horizontal tail spar to be at the proper height and incidence angle. Then I locked the spar in place by adding the braces that are depicted in image 1. The incidence angle is set using a scrapped C channel that is clamped to the spar then clecoed to the fuselage as shown. At the bottom right side of the spar is shown a couple of C clamps that are holding an angle that is clecoed to the side of the fuselage. The angle restrains the spar laterally.
With the spar in place, I double checked the sweep angle, then clamped the welded anchor fitting in place and ensured it was vertical. Next it was drilled through the lower anchor fitting then drilled to the spar.
