Fabricated and fitted the left and right rear seat foot well skins. These skins must be located below the rear rudder pedals and require a match drill with those units. The skins also have a flange that attaches to the side skin and must accommodate the differing heights of longerons . This required splitting the flange at one point. I made a paper template of the skins first then fabricated the units out of .020 aluminum. Using the paper templates assures that I have skins that will fit my plane as opposed to going strictly from the plans. (by the way, in this case, the plans were almost exactly the same dimensions as shat I built). I also added a couple of holes at the aft end of the skins. This is to provide a place to vacuum out any dirt or debris that should accumulate under the floorboards due to dirty passenger feet.
