Started working on some control stick and tube weldments. Image 1 shows a few of the bent and flat parts that will be needed to make the control torque tube. Image 2 shows a simple fixture that was made to set the height and alignment of the stick pivot points. Finally, image 3 shows the pilot control stick with the 1/2 inch pivot tube welded in place (to be trimmed to fit later) and the scarf welded fittings that mate with the Hiem joint. Also shown is the first welded plates as welded in the simple tool.
