Brief Description:  More Rudder Pedal Work

More rudder pedal work. The work is pretty straight forward and fun, but an interesting thing to note is that the rear rudder pedals fold out of the way when the passenger doesn't want to use them. As a result, the pedal needs to turn freely as the shaft is being actuated by the pilot. It is important that there is no friction (or catching) that could occur from the rear pedals, so, you need to make sure that the tube cannot get wedged under the rod welded next to it. To prevent this, I filled the inner concave section of the rod with weld, then polished it flat as shown in image 1. This should allow the rear rudder pedal tube to bump against it and always rotate freely. Image 2 shows the completed rear pedal assembly while image 3 shows everything I have on the rudder pedals so far.
