Brief Description: Why It Takes Me so Long to Build
In my last post, I said I was not happy with the weld on the attach bracket. Well I think Obsesive Compulsive Disorder is part of the homebuilding experience, so rather than let the bad weld bother me, I rebuilt the bracket....again. This time if left an extension on the flanges so that I had more overlap on the .125 filler plate. This let me make a single weld on the top keeping the heat down so the metal did not caramalize. Anyway, the good news is that I am getting faster at making brackets.....and now I am done...really.........
