Drilled the side baggage support rails to the side skins. Also I was looking at how small the baggage compartment is, and wondering about it's access. It looks like my normal travel bag will fit through the door. Perhaps 2 bags will fit in the compartment. The baggage area on my RV-4 is considerably bigger as I can carry 2 bags plus camping gear. There is, however, a forward baggage compartment on the Nexus. Perhaps that gets me back to what I can carry currently. Anyway, I really just wanted to check to see if a bag would fit through the door...and it does. So I will not modify it at this time.
looks like bag will just barely fit. Will be worse with seatbelts in the way.
