I was pleased with the way the 40 inch brake turned out, however, the minimum flange height between bends is 1 inch (0.9 if you push it). The very first part I wanted to make has a 0.5 flange height between bends (this is the baggage door latch stiffener) So I decided to build a mini break that could be used in my vice to bend shorter flanges. Today, I started to accumulate some scrap metal to build it. Originally I thought I would use the two C clamps shown to support the middle bend, but it turns out it is easier to do in the vice. (I will show it's use later)
