Mounted the two main support bars at the forward end of the fixture. I used 2" square tubing (since that's what I had) as opposed to the 2" angle in the plans. Made support stiffeners out of 3/4 plywood. The whole fixture is very ridgid at this time. I noticed that the main 2x6 beam is supposed to be offset from the centerline of the fuselage when mounted in the fixture. This is to allow the intermediate support beams to clear the cap strip that must be installed in the bulkheads while they are still in the fixture. I built my fixture with the end beams symmetrical to the 2x6. I will laminate a 1x6 on one side of the 2x6 to add the offset
