Rib blanks were prepared. Nose and aft section of ribs were separated as needed to accomodate the spar thickness changes. Radii were added to all bend areas. Back-up blocks were cut slightly inside of main rib forms to allow striking the radius with the planishing hammer, All ribs were then layed out on a 4 x 8 sheet of aluminum to cut out the blanks.
