Fabricated the 1/8 inch spacers that mount to the .040 cowl mounting flange. Since the flange is not at 90 degrees, it must be cut on a curve then formed. The thickness of the material makes it somewhat of a challenge to make a good tight fit to the bulkhead. To get a better fit, I cut a number of slots into the spacer as shown in Image 2. Things should pull up tight with final riveting.
