Dad says I need to update my log....so here is an update: After assembly, the aft spar bulkhead was reinstalled in the fixture. Slight modifications to the support arms were needed to accomodate the rivets.see image 1. Attach fittings were then fabricated for the outboard spars. These consisted of .125 and .063 inch thick plates cut as shown in image 2. Finally a support fitting was made from .063 plate for the aileron hinges as shown in image 3. Once everything was clecoed in place, the flanges on the outboard spar were aligned with the flanges on the inboard, and a 1/32 pilot attach hole was drilled for the future 1/4 inch attach bolt. This marks the point where the aft spar is fully rigged for incidence and washout.
