Brief Description: More Elevator trimming and Fitting
I spent the better part of this build session installing and removing the elevators over and over again while I carefully trimmed the stabilizer to permit full movement. As I did the trimming, I eventually filed the elevator bellcrank stops to permit the requisit 28 degrees up and 20 degrees down motion. By the way, photo 1 shows one of the 4 fit-up pins I made to ease the multiple sessions of installation and removal. It's much easier than trying to fit a bolt when there is still much trimming to do. I probably could have done this trimming in fewer steps....but I figured better to go slowly since it is hard to put metal back! Photo three shows lots of trimmins since there are 4 edges to fit.
