Finished the aft spars tonight. When I measured the width of the spar after the bend, they were about .030 too wide. This is no problem however, since I left excess on the length to allow me to trim the spar in the right spot. The final spars are 2.800 at the big end and 1.7 at the narrow end. Usually things do not come out as well as planned, but in this case, the operation seems to be pretty tolerant of my attempts to bungle it up. ha ha After the length was cut, I trimmed the flange widths to .70 inches (should be .625, but I left a bit of excess) The entire spar was then deburred on the Scotchbrite wheel.
