Prepared battery box and mast for 3M spray adhesive. No foam trimmed that was supplied. I did cut foam at one corner, not all the way thru but just enough to let foam lay into corners better. Left piece under battery uncut, but this piece would have layed better into corners too.
Mounting to mast was easy after I used the clamp to hold box and battery in place. When I first got these clamps I thought to myself, “When am I ever going to use them?” now I know. Just make sure to keep the jaw face clean so you do not mare the power coating.
NOTE: Good idea to put Starter Solenoid on back of battery box before installing battery. I did this later in build when doing the wiring harness.
