Keel plate and mast surfaces prepared. Keel insert tool made out of wood dole. Front keel tube inserts were one tight fit. Keel plate fit not well. Out of alignment enough that assemble of mast and keels at same time is a must for proper fit. Hung mast from over head and made two foot high three wide eight long table to hold keel. Table looks like it will work great for assembly of landing gear and upper keels to mast latter.
Was hoping that parts would fit together better. Ok, looks like the learning curve going to be high on this project too.
Note: I am finding out that everything on this kit has a reason for it. Big one is that this airframe is going to be strong and resist wear for many hours of service.
