I recently returned from my second six-month deployment, and re-entered my shop. I had decided to start over from scratch as a reult of the desire to prime every internal part. It would make storage over the long term, as well as annuals once flying, exponentially easier.
For shop prep, I still have to work on the paint booth but that can wait until later. The summer heat got into my closed garage and weakend the tape holding the plastic sheeting up. As expected, the sheets were patially collapsed when I came back in.
I spent about 3.5 hours sorting through the parts, cleaning tools, and prepping for the vertical stabilizer to be rebuilt. I was able to smooth the VS ribs and cleco the VS internal structure together. Until I get to showing the parts primed, I won't bother too much with new pictures showing old steps.
