Last entry I wrote:
"Next session I'll dimple the skins and countersink the trailing edge strip."

Well I did one of two. I countersunk the trailing edge strip. It took a while because I first had to set up the countersink tool; the drill bit is inside a micro-stop cage that can be adjusted by 1/1000" at a time. I first had to adjust, check with a piece of scrap skin, and readjust several times on one hole until it fit perfectly. From there I was able to lock the cage, and rapid-fire countersink the remaining holes on either side of the strip.

After this, I set it aside and began deburring the pieces. Every rudder piece must be deburred. I made it through three pieces, then called it quits for the night.
