Brief Description: Riveted L&R Rudder Skins together
In today's second build session, I invited Ben over. I needed a second pair of hands to peel away one end of the rudder away while I riveted the stiffeners together on the inside, then slowly roll the skin onto the other as I progressed riveting up.
While I riveted the stiffeners together using pop rivets, Ben cleco'd the trailing edge together (which had also been prepped and bonded).
The result is joined rudder skins, and a bonded trailing edge.
Next step will be to rivet the trailing edge together.
