Brief Description:  EAA Workbenches

The last time I did construction was steel rebar for interstate bridges as a teenager. New project - build myself a plane! Last Wednesday, 20Jan2016, my apartment complex had an open garage for me. I took it, moved in my previous tools, and the next day on 21Jan2016 I placed my order for the Van's RV-14 Empennage kit.

That Saturday and Sunday, I began work. A friend and I built two EAA Chapter 1000 Workbenches over the weekend. It's made from 2x4's and 3/4" MDF for the top.

I got to learn the basics of carpentry, how to measure/mark, cut with a circular saw and not lose fingers, etc. Kayla says we're never buying furniture again - I get to build it all now!
